Luxury desert resort in the heart of Arizona
Situated in the heart of Arizona, the Enchantment Resort Sedona is an ideal destination for those looking to relax during their vacation. The town of Sedona is just a 30 minute drive from Flagstaff, yet it feels as though it’s further, thanks in part to the stunning red rock backdrop, which is visible from most of the resort’s properties, that offers a sense of the desert wilderness.
The resort’s 80 plus accommodation buildings come in a number of shapes and sizes. These are designated as Casita, Hacienda, Junior Suite, and Casa. Each of these is individually styled, some with multiple bedrooms suitable for larger groups, and others with single bedrooms, which are perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Each of these includes mini-bar, coffeemaker, television with in-room movies, iron and ironing board, and bathrobes. Smaller apartments are equipped with a kitchenette whilst larger casas are fitted with a full kitchen (including dining table, electric range, and refrigerator). Almost all feature an outdoor deck from which to view the stunning vistas that surround the resort. Private bathrooms can be found throughout.
Whilst these rooms provide cooking facilities, many guests elect to take a break from the self-catering. The resort features a number of dining options for visitors to take advantage of. The Yavapai Restaurant serves grilled specialties and offers a fantastic 180 degree view of Boynton Canyon. Tii Gavo offers alfresco dining against a similar backdrop, whilst the Mii Amo Café is an ideal place to grab a light bite or drink.
The Enchantment Resort Sedona offers a wide range of services aimed at adults and children, whilst maintaining the Native American heritage that resonates throughout the region.
Many guests head to Enchantment to enjoy the Mii Amo Spa. Here guests over the age of 16 can enjoy a variety of treatments and facilities with the knowledge that the price is covered in the cost of accommodation. Amongst the facilities on offer are and outdoor lap pool and spa, indoor steam room and sauna, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, as well as a fitness room. A wide variety of spa treatments are also available, offering deep-reaching relaxation.
Adults can rest assured that children need not be bored during their trip to the desert. Camp Coyote is a designated Children’s Club, offering younger guests the opportunity to play and learn. Amongst the activities on offer are nature walks, star gazing, and obstacle courses.
The resort is located on 70 acres of natural land in the Boynton Canyon. As such, visitors can enjoy a trip to the Great Outdoors for a spot of hiking, mountain biking, or even an educational visit to some of the Native American landmarks to be found here in the desert. The Honanki Heritage Site is one such area, featuring a host of cliff dwellings that can be traced to the Hopi. The Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness and Palatki Heritage Site are two other worthwhile destinations.
Back at the Enchantment Resort Sedona guests can have a little fun playing tennis, croquet, table tennis, or some pitch ‘n’ putt.
