Family-friendly Missouri waterpark resort offering entertainment galore
Located at the heart of the popular Missouri tourist town, the Grand Country Inn Branson offers guests lodgings with instant access to a wide range of entertainment and adventurous activities. As such, it’s a popular choice with families visiting the area.
The Grand Country Inn houses 319 motel-style rooms with hotel amenities. Each guestroom features a private en-suite bathroom with bathtub/shower combination and complimentary toiletries. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature a TV with cable channels, ironing amenities, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radio, hairdryer, telephone (with free local calls), and complimentary wireless internet access. Infant beds and rollaway beds are available on request.
The Grand Country Buffet serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a range of buffet style dishes for guests to enjoy. Papa Grand’s Pizza serves exactly that, pizza – with a variety of toppings and sizes. Glenn’s Frozen Custards offers a dessert choice, whilst the Mining Company Grill served cooked-to-order grill food, including burgers and chicken. All this comfort food will make guests feel like they’re on vacation.
Perhaps the most popular attraction at the Grand Country Inn Branson is the Splash Country Waterpark. Here children (of all ages) can enjoy both indoor and outdoor facilities. Pools feature slides, games, and the Treehouse, a three-story interactive water feature that is sure to bring a smile to the face. Those not so keen on the adventurous aspect of the park (adults, perhaps) can enjoy a soak in the spa baths.
Guests can also enjoy the Grand Country Music Hall, which has three performances per day. Guests can expect to see comedy acts, animal shows, and a wide range of musical concerts, including gospel, rock, pop, and, of course, country.
A number of recreational activities are available within the hotel grounds. Amongst these are miniature golf, including a blacklight course, mini-bowling, a games arcade, laser maze, and children’s play area. All of these are family-friendly.
Outside of the hotel complex, guests will find a long list of activities to partake in. Exercise fanatics will find running tracks and paths nearby, as well as areas to hike and cycle. Basketball, volleyball and tennis courts can be found close by, whilst a host of water sports (including kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, water skiing, and motor boating) can also be enjoyed.
Other popular Branson activities include horseback riding, bird watching, fishing, and helicopter rides. A number of golf courses, as well as tuition, can also be found in the region.
The Hollywood Wax Museum found in Branson is the only one of its kind outside of Los Angeles itself. As a result it is popular with tourists. Other tourist attractions include the Titanic Museum, Ripley’s Odditorium (which looks as though it has been split by an earthquake), Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and the Silver Dollar City theme park.
The Grand Country Inn Branson is conveniently positioned to offer access to all of these attractions, as well as Branson’s ‘Strip’, which features theaters, concert halls, and a number of other popular city venues.
